This year's artwork by Maya Kuvaja is titled “Owl with Apples.” This artwork aligns with MOFGA’s mission and spotlights how organic orchards serve as important habitat for wildlife, including birds of prey.
"I love to paint these beautiful creatures, symbols of wisdom, natural allies of farmers. This handsome fellow seemed like a perfect fit in an apple tree, a blend of wild nature and one of my favorite Maine crops!" says Maya Kuvaja.
