2009 APPLES - Adult Short-Sleeve T-shirt

The 2009 Common Ground Country Fair t-shirt reprint is finally here! The design, by John Bunker, depicts 16 apples, one from each Maine county. Bunker says they are “a metaphor for local communities, food, family and agriculture, where a lot of potential for the future is.” We can use the rich heritage of Maine’s heirloom apples to “imagine the best of the past and use what we imagine as a way of moving forward.” The t-shirts are printed on 100% organic U.S.-grown and sewn cotton with water-based inks by our friends at Liberty Graphics. Read more about the artist and the design here.
